This presentation explains the risks of genetically engineered (GE) foods as reported by the scientific staff of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Royal Society of Canada, the Public Health Association of Australia, and other eminent experts; and it discusses the extensive body of evidence indicating that genetic engineering tends to cause unintended and potentially harmful effects in the food-yielding organisms it reconfigures. It also reveals the extent to which the FDA and many prestigious scientists and scientific institutions employ deception in order to conceal these risks and keep GE foods on the market. 

Additionally, this talk will alert people to the degree to which most of them have been unknowingly consuming GE foods and explain how to avoid such products, a task that is unfortunately becoming ever more challenging.

Steven M. Druker is a public interest attorney who organized a lawsuit against the FDA that forced the agency to divulge its files on GE foods. This revealed how the politically appointed administrators had covered up the extensive warnings of their own scientists about the unique hazards of these foods and have systematically misrepresented the facts since 1992. In organizing the suit, he assembled an unprecedented coalition of eminent scientists and religious leaders to stand as plaintiffs.

Mr. Druker has become known as one of the leading figures discussing the problems of GE foods and has made presentations throughout the U.S. and in Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and sixteen countries in Europe, Asia, and South America.
