Corporate Globalization: Trading Away Our Right to Protect Animals
Dr. Michael Greger will share his research about how global trade agreements and institutions such as GATT, NAFTA, and the World Trade Organization (WTO) have affected animals. He will offer his understanding of what impact the proposed Free Trade Area of the Americas (the expansion of NAFTA) will have on animals as well. This is a riveting and thought-provoking talk, infused with vast historical background and even humor, about what may be the greatest threat ever posed to animal protection.
Brimming with the latest research gleaned from the national vegetarian conference Summerfest, Dr. Michael Greger will be back in Hawaii to give four exciting lectures on Oahu on a variety of interesting topics. His leading edge information and unique and humorous presentation skills promise an entertaining and educational experience not to be missed.
